Weiran Huang is an Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Research Consultant at Shanghai AI Lab. He was named a 2024 Microsoft Research Asia StarTrack Scholar (one of 17 globally). He earned his Ph.D. in computer science from Tsinghua University, during which he visited Harvard University, and his bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University. His research focuses on efficient fine-tuning and continual learning of large models. He established the MIFA Lab at SJTU in 2022 and has published over 30 papers in top AI conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, and ICML. His achievements include being a finalist for the ICCV 2023 Best Paper Award (17 out of 8,260) for his work on noisy-label and long-tailed recognition, as well as leading his team to first place in the NeurIPS 2023 competition on large-model-based medical image classification. He has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Opening Project of the State Key Laboratory of General Artificial Intelligence, and corporate research sponsors including Doubao AI, Tencent WeChat, Baidu, and Microsoft Research Asia.

黄维然，上海交通大学副教授、博士生导师，上海人工智能实验室科研顾问，入选 2024 年“微软亚洲研究院铸星计划”学者（全球 17 人）。先后在清华大学获得学士和博士学位，博士期间曾赴哈佛大学访问。2022 年起组建 MIFA 实验室，聚焦大模型的高效微调与持续学习研究，迄今累计在 NeurIPS、ICLR、ICML 等国际顶级人工智能会议上发表论文三十余篇，获得四项国家发明专利授权，谷歌学术引用量超过 1.3 千余次，其中“噪声标签长尾问题”相关的学术论文入选 ICCV 2023 最佳论文候选名单（17/8260）。曾获得“华为创新先锋总裁奖”一等奖，NeurIPS 2023 挑战赛（基于大模型的医疗图像分类）全球第一名。主持国家自然科学基金青年科学基金、跨媒体通用人工智能全国重点实验室开放课题、豆包大模型基金（11%）、CCF-百度松果基金（13%）、腾讯犀牛鸟专项基金（14%）、微软亚洲研究院合作研究基金等。此外，他还担任中国计算机学会大模型论坛、理论计算机科学专委会，中国图象图形学学会视觉大数据专委会，中国自动化学会模式识别与机器智能专委会，以及视觉与学习青年学者研讨会领域主席委员会的执行委员。
